Training course coming soon

The Eco-Therapy training week is around the corner. From 14th to 16th November 2023, an insightful training week focusing on ecotherapy will take place. This unique event promises to shed light on the world of the Eco-Therapy project.

The programme is as follows:

Day 1: Tuesday, 14 November 2023
What is ecotherapy? – Participants will explore the basics of ecotherapy and its relevance in the modern world.
Is there a place for ecotherapy? – Discussions continue with an exploration of the possible applications of ecotherapy.
How and where can it be implemented in VET? – The first day will conclude with a practical examination of the implementation of ecotherapy in educational contexts.
Day 2: Wednesday, 15 November 2023
Special considerations in ecotherapy – A focus on the unique aspects of ecotherapy when working with people with substance use disorders (SUDs).
The Eco-Therapy Resources – Participants will be introduced to the wide range of resources available to deepen their understanding and practice of ecotherapy such as the the Eco-Therapy Toolkit that provides practical tools and techniques needed to make ecotherapy an integral part of professional work and the the Eco-Therapy MOOC  – the e-learning course dedicated to ecotherapy.
Day 3: Thursday, 16 November 2023
Ecotherapy Activities – a presentation of nature-based activities that have the potential to have a profound impact on individuals seeking healing and personal growth.
Organisational aspects – Participants will look at practical considerations and strategies for effectively integrating ecotherapy into their work environment.
Wrap-up and discussion – The training week will conclude with a reflection on the potential use of ecotherapy in individual contexts, providing an open forum for participants to share their insights and experiences.

This unique training week promises to be an enriching experience. Participants will explore the transformative power of ecotherapy and how it can be used when working with people with substance use disorders.
